Celebrating Seven Years of Zoey’s YouTube Journey: The Impact of Virtual Education

At Virginia Virtual Academy (VAVA), we are excited to celebrate a major milestone for one of our brightest students. Zoey is celebrating the 7th anniversary of her YouTube channel, Zoey TV. What began as a creative outlet for a three-year-old has blossomed into a remarkable journey of entrepreneurship, creativity, and educational innovation, and virtual education has played a key role in her success. 

The Birth of Zoey TV 

Zoey’s passion for creativity started at a young age after she was inspired by the creativity of other children online. Zoey and her mom, Kesha, decided to create her own channel when she was just three years old. Together, they hit the ground running, and from that point forward, the creativity never stopped! Today, Zoey manages two YouTube channels, Zoey TV and Sunshine’s Toca, and her impact continues to grow. 

A Multi-Talented Young Creator 

Zoey’s journey is nothing short of inspiring. Over the past seven years, she has achieved incredible milestones: 

  • Two YouTube Channels: Zoey runs both Zoey TV and Sunshine’s Toca, engaging audiences with her unique and imaginative content. 
  • 11 Published Books: Zoey has already written 11 books, and the 12th is on the way! Her creativity extends beyond the screen, offering young readers exciting stories and adventures. 
  • Certified Game & App Developer: Zoey is a certified Game & App Developer, combining her love for technology with her creativity to develop fun and interactive experiences. 
  • Educational Contributor: During the pandemic, Zoey’s video content was even used by DC Public Schools for distance learning, highlighting the educational value of her work. 

The Role of Virtual Education in Zoey’s Success 

Zoey and her mom credit VAVA and the flexibility of virtual learning for playing a significant role in her achievements. Kesha shares, “The excellent and supportive teachers have given Zoey the freedom and flexibility to learn at her own pace and given our family more quality time together to travel, chase bigger dreams, and think outside the box.” 

This flexibility has allowed Zoey to pursue her creative ventures while receiving the academic support she needs. With VAVA’s personalized learning experience, Zoey has been able to focus on her YouTube channels, books, and tech projects while excelling in her studies. 

What’s Next for Zoey? 

When asked about her next project, Zoey shared that she would like to publish her 20th book soon, though she plans to keep it “not too ambitious.” Her 12th book is already on the way, and we are excited to see where her journey takes her next! With her talent, passion, and determination, Zoey is bound to achieve even more in the years ahead.
